This policy explains what information Khel-Mitra (NeoAbhro Tech Pvt. Ltd.) handles and why. We collect as little as possible.

What we handle

• Display name you type, shown to others at your table.
• A random player ID created on your device, used to keep your seat and your pass. It is not linked to your identity.
• Game data — seats, cards, bets in points, table chat lines — held on the host's phone or in your browser for the session. Tables played over the internet pass through our server in transit; we do not keep game histories.
• Payments — processed by Razorpay. We receive the payment and order IDs, amount and status. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to the data you give them.
• Bridge “Players near you” profile (optional) — only if you publish one: the name you choose, a line about you, play preferences, weekly time slots, and your location rounded to about 1 km. It is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and stays on the map (also while you are signed out) until you tap “Remove me from the map”. Other players see the rounded pin, a rough distance, and whether you are online — never your exact location. Your registered phone number is shared only if you tick “Chat with me on WhatsApp”, and then only with a signed-in player (with a valid pass) who taps WhatsApp on your pin or is in a pod suggested to them — so they can open a WhatsApp chat with you. If you do not tick it, players message you inside the app: those messages are stored in Google Cloud Firestore for up to 30 days (or until either of you blocks the other) so you can read them later, and your map shows who has written to you. Pod suggestions are ranked by Google Gemini using names, preferences, slots and distances (no phone numbers). Searching requires a valid pass. You can block or report anyone.
• Khel-Mitra account (phone number) — signing in uses the shared 99platforms login run by NeoAbhro (phone number + PIN; an SMS OTP when you first register or reset your PIN). Khel-Mitra receives your account ID, phone number and name so your passes follow you to any device; your PIN is never shared with Khel-Mitra.
• Mobile number (free trial only) — if you claim the free days, your number is verified by an SMS OTP sent through Google Firebase Authentication. We keep only a one-way keyed hash of the number, so the same number can't claim the free days twice; we do not store the number itself or use it to contact you.
• Voice / dictation — when you turn on the microphone, speech is turned into text on your device (or by your browser's speech service). Only the resulting text is sent to your table. We do not record or store audio.
• Technical logs — our hosting provider (Google Cloud) keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and time) for security and troubleshooting, for a limited period.

How we use it

Only to run the game, process day passes, prevent abuse and fix problems. We do not sell personal data, do not show ads and do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Where it is stored

On your device (name, player ID, day pass), on the host's device during a game, and on servers in Google Cloud (asia-southeast1) for payment records and logs. Payment records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting law.

Your choices

You can clear your name, player ID and day pass by clearing the site's data in your browser or deleting the app. To ask about or delete payment records linked to you, email admin@neoabhro.com with your Razorpay payment ID.

Children

Khel-Mitra is meant for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
